    Nitrilotrimethylenephospnic Acid (NTMP) was the first member of Orgahophosphonic Acid to utilize for oil-field water chemical treatment, and circulating cooling water treatment as an economical and effective scale inhibitor. Wide-ranging and thorough research by Prof. Li shouchun indicates that NTMPA and its derivatives possesses mutual aid and cooperation in scale and corrosion inhibition.

   Performance :

• NTMPA appears to be preferentially adsorbed on certain nuclei sites of calcium carbonate . calcium sulfate. barium sulfate to cause their crystallite growth sharply inhibited or retarded.
  Good threshold effect .A few milligrams per liter of NTMPA can stabilize hundreds or thousands of times as much scale-forming ions.

• When the concentration of NTMP increased up to 30 milligrams per liter ,especially when it mixed with zinc. NTMPA together with calcium and zinc ions adsorb on steel, or copper surface to form an anti-corrosion film, and the dosage of NTMPA can be reduced to 50%.
  NTMPA possesses a good compatibility with most water treatment chemicals. And safety for human, animals and aquatic organisms.
