Performance :
Hydroxyethylidenediphosphonic Acid (HEDPA) possesses excellent sequestering ability through the formation of complexes with
ions of calcium or barium at active growth sites on the surface of crystals. Thereby the deposition of calcium carbonate,
calcium sulfate and barium sulfate are inhibited. When HEDPA mixed with zinc, an
anti-corrosion film will be formed on steel or copper surface and the dosage of HEDPA required for protection will be reduced.
At high carbonate hardness and in 50¡æ cooling water, the application of HEDPA demonstrated an effective scale and corrosion inhibition. Good compatibility with most water treatment chemicals, stable at chlorine levels, commonly encountered, and aquatic organisms.
