Performance :

    
    Ethylenediaminetetramethylenephosphonic Acid (EDTMPA) appears to be preferentially adsorbed on certain nuclei sites of alkaline and non-alkaline scale particulates, and cause crystal lattice growth stopped or retreated.
    EDTMPA displays good threshold character. Minute amount of EDTMP can stabilize hundreds to thousands of times as much scale-forming ions in water to inhibit or to retard the scale formation.
    At higher concentration such as more than 30 milligrams per liter ,EDTMPA together with calcium ions adsorb on steel surface to form an anti-corrosion film. When it is mixed with zinc, the mixture provide an effective protection on steel and copper over a wide pH range at lower concentration, the dosage of EDMPA can be reduced to 50% and solubility of zinc can be raised.

Application :
    Corrosion inhibitor and scale inhibitor for circulating cooling water systems of petrochemical industry, power plant and metallurgical industry. Suitable utilize for lower hardness water systems as steel corrosion inhibitor when it mixed with zinc ions.
