    Polyacrylic Acid----the first compound used as water treatment chemical of Polycarboxylate. It in our country was first synthesized by Prof. Li shouchun. It is the first chemical of Industrial Circulating Cooling Water Treatment approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of state. Prof. Li shouchun and his colleagues became the winner of the First Class Prize "Research、 Development、 Production and Application of water Treatment Chemicals and of Circulating Cooling Water Treatment Technology".

•  Strongly adsorb on particulates of iron oxide, clay, alkaline scale, non-alkaline scale, remains of microbe and algae, enable to suspend particles in water and displays a good dispersancy ;

•  Greater threshold effect. A few milligrams per liter of Polyacrylic Acid inhibit hundreds to thousands of times scale and non-alkaline scale precipitation on metal heat transfer surface ;

•  Stable and soluble at high and low pH level ;

•  Possesses good compatibility and synergism with numerous water treatment chemicals ;

•  Nontoxic to human, animal and aquatic organisms ;

Application--------Scale inhibitor and Dispersing agent

•  Calcium carbonate scale inhibitor for circulating cooling water system of petrol-chemical industry, power plant and metallurgical industry ;

•  Alkaline scale and non-alkaline scale such as calcium sulfate, barium sulfate inhibitor for desalinization of sea water, internal treatment of steam boiler and oil-field water ;

•  Excellent dispersing agent of inorganic and organic particulates ;
